Canadian life sciences & health tech companies will have the opportunity to pitch in person to global investors at the OBIO® Investment Summit in Toronto on February 5-7, 2025.
Companies commercializing products and services in therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health and health IT have the opportunity to pitch to global investors. An exclusive, invite-only event, the Summit provides a private environment for 1x1 partnering and relationship building with venture capital, strategic partners and investors specializing in health science.
The Summit will highlight Canada’s most promising early-stage and venture-backed companies across a full spectrum of technologies: therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health and health IT. Companies chosen to present at the OIS have collectively raised $1.6 B and licensed out $2B since 2018.
Companies need to demonstrate high growth potential suitable for venture investors. If a company is chosen to present, they will be required to pay the conference fee to attend, setup one-on-one meetings using a partnering system, and network with the venture ecosystem.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and need to demonstrate high venture growth potential suitable for VCs. There are limited presentations spots.
Applications for the next round of review will close on Friday, November 22.
Eligibility requirements are that the applicant company:
Has operations in Canada and is a private start-up company.
Is focused on developing human life sciences products, including but not limited to therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, and health IT.
The presenter must be available to present in person.
